Giampaolo Mazzini

CEO

Laureato in Linguistica Italiana nel 1992, ha lavorato nei progetti di ricerca Eurotra e MLAP (COLSIT e LS-GRAM) presso il Gruppo Dima; è stato per un anno ricercatore presso il DFKI (Saarbruecken), dove si è occupato di Information Extraction. E' uno dei fondatori di CELI s.r.l., ed è stato membro del consiglio di amministrazione dal 1999 al 2009. Presso CELI ha lavorato come linguista computazionale e ricercatore in progetti europei e nazionali (Mietta, Mietta-II, TAL, Deep Thought, NEMIS e LUNA).

Andrea Bolioli

Laureato in Filosofia del Linguaggio, ha lavorato dal 1990 come linguista computazionale presso il Gruppo DIMA e il Centro per l'Elaborazione del Linguaggio e dell'Informazione (Torino). Nel 1999 è stato uno dei fondatori di CELI s.r.l. e amministratore dal 1999 al 2009. Presso CELI srl ha lavorato in progetti di ricerca NLP e servizi commerciali per clienti italiani e stranieni. Fa parte del consiglio di amministrazione di CLS.

Mario Zen

Direttore di ITC-irst dal 2004 al 2007; dal 2007 responsabile del Technological Transfer Office di FBK. Chairman e membro di diversi comitati scientifici nazionali, membro dei comitati scientifici di convegni internazionali sui Microsistemi. Expert evaluator per l'Unione europea e il MIUR (Ministero dell'Istruzione, dell'Università e della Ricerca). Autore di un gran numero di articoli e co-autore di brevetti internazionali; referee di riviste scientifiche e atti di convegni. Ha contribuito alla creazione di diverse aziende spin-off della ricerca. Fa parte del consiglio di amministrazione di CLS.

Luca Dini

Presidente di CELI s.r.l. e CELI France SAS, precedentemente amministratore delegato di DIMA Logic. Ha lavorato dal 1986 nel settore delle tecnologie del Linguaggio naturale e ha partecipato a diversi progetti di ricerca europei, tra i quali: Eurotra, EAGLES, MIETTA I & II (site manager), Deep Thought (Site Manager), LOIS (Project Manager), CACAO (Site Manager/Technical Coordinator), EuropeanaConnect (Site Manager), GALATEAS (leader of the technical coordination and site manager). Fa parte del Comitato scientifico di CLS.

Bernardo Magnini

He has been working as a researcher at Fondazione Bruno Kessler since 1988, and has been involved in several research projects and evaluation campaigns. Since 2008 he co-heads the Human Language Technology research unit at FBK-irst. He currently coordinates the Working Group on NLP of the Italian Association for Artificial Intelligence. He is contract professor at the University of Trento and the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano. He is part of the Scientific Board of CLS.

Massimo Poesio

He is Full Professor at DISI and at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, University of Trento, and Director of the Language Interaction and Computation Lab at CIMeC. He obtained his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Rochester in 1994. His main research interest is text mining, particularly entity disambiguation, and coreference resolution. He has been PI in 8 grants, 3 EPSRC projects in the UK (GNOME, ARRAU, AnaWiki) and 2 EU projects (MATE and TRINDI). He is part of the Scientific Board of CLS.

Lorenza Romano

She received the "Laurea Magistralis" degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Padua, Italy, in 2002, with a thesis on POS Tagging. In 2003 she joined FBK-irst and as a researcher she was involved in several European projects related to natural language processing, specifically machine learning technologies, and knowledge acquisition and management. Currently she deals with software development at CLS.

Raffaella Bernardi

She is Assistant Professor at DISI and at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, University of Trento. She obtained her PhD at the University of Utrecht in 2002. She has carried out work on Corpora, Grammar Induction within the Categorial Grammar framework, Interactive Question Answering, Controlled Natural Language, Categorial Type Logic and Digital Libraries. She has been PI within the EU Project CACAO and local coordinator of the EMLCT at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano.
